Superstitions (aka: OCD!)

I have a strange obsession with numbers. I can't stand to have radio or tv volume set on an odd number. The bedroom tv has to be set on either 14 or 16... NEVER 15! The radio in my white truck needs to be on 18 for normal listening and 34 to crank it up. Strange? Perhaps, but I bet you all have a dirty little compulsion, too. Feel free to share your freaky side today!

Ha! I used to have a digital alarm clock that had a button for each number, 0-9, on top. It was a nice feature for setting the time because, say it was 6:14pm, you just had to hit the 0,6,1,4 and then "set." But for some reason, every time I set the time for my alarm I would type in the numbers like 3 or 4 times "just to make sure it was right." It was definitely the weirdest OCD trait I have ever had. Also, I don't have that clock anymore.

The other weird one was on SAT type tests that are super long and multiple choice where you had to fill in little circles. Whenever I got to the first question that I couldn't figure out, I would have to jump to the last question and go backwards from there. I swear I don't have OCD, though. ; )

speaking of alarm clocks, I never set the clock to the precise half hour. in other words, when setting it for 7:00, I always set it for 7:01. NEVER on the hour or half hour exactly. I have no idea why I do this.

It sounds like you all are much freakier about this kind of stuff than I am. And we all thought I was the neurotic one. Although, like Chris, I never set the alarm precisely on the half hour.

Kara has more to share (I know this from a phone conversation we had tonight), Mel could write a novel ( I know this because I know her)!
