So we had to take Bones to the vet this week. Lately he has gotten very arthritic in his right hip and cries at night. The doctor took an x-ray and confirmed the arthritis, and put him on Previcox which seems to be helping. The funny thing about the x-ray was what was there that wasn't supposed to be there... Bones had been shot years ago and was FULL of birdshot pellets! I scoured the internet looking for a similar picture to what I saw at the vets office and came up empty. Here is my doctored picture that looks similar to Bone's x-ray.
*Note that the dog in this x-ray has swallowed a golf ball - Bones fortunately didn't have a golf ball in his abdomen!
