Just a reminder that this blog will be holding it's annual Breeder's Cup Contest for 2009. The contest is free to play, open to all who want to compete, and so easy that even a Caveman can do it!

2009 Kentucky Derby Info

We are coming down to the wire on this years Kentucky Derby. Although the official entries aren't out yet, you can see the top 20 Kentucky Derby Contenders here, along with who is out. They also have some interesting Derby facts and trivia, and recaps of the prep races. This is also the site where you can bet on the Kentucky Derby or any other race for that matter.

Don't forget that Horse Circle has an annual Derby Contest that is free to play. The winner of the contest will recieve two Kentucky Derby 135 glasses. The contest will be posted when the official entries for the Derby come out, so check back in! Good luck with your handicapping.

Bodog Racebook and The Breeder's Cup

There are only 53 more days until the Breeder's Cup !

This year the Breeder's Cup will be run at Santa Anita on October, 25th. For those of you having trouble keeping up with the horses who will most likely be running in the Breeder's Cup, Bodog has a Breeder's Cup Watch section that highlights the top five horses in the Classic, Turf, Mile, and Sprint. They also have weekly news updates and opinions, and a "races to watch" section that tells when the key prep races are and where they are being televised. Bodog Racebook

As you may remember, I opened an account at Bodog Racebook a few months ago. I am really happy with it. They don't pressure you to deposit money or gamble, but it is there when you need it. It has come in handy lately, with all the Derby preps, and I'll definitely use it to wager on the Derby.
