Big Brown Redeemed

Story Here.

I don't know what to think of this race - I can still see Big Brown stuck in the mud so to speak at the Belmont. What ever occurred in the past months apparently helped the horse win at Monmouth. To say I am skeptical about the whole thing is true.

I forgot to predict this. Does it still count?

Joan, The win was impressive the way he chased down the leader. I'm not sure but I would chalk the Belmont up to the missed training from the quarter crack, rankness early on in the race, fighting with his jockey, the loose shoe, the heavy track and the heat. (and Dutrow's bragging HAD to be part of the downfall, too!)

Chris, you should know better!

Thanks Nora here in Cheshire (next door to Bristol , the home of ESPN) there was no TV coverage. My Brother actually gave me the information about the win.

That, and the fix was in on the Belmont.

I predict Big Brown will win the Travers if he runs.

I predict that IF Big Brown runs again it will be in Breeder's Cup Classic.

It looked to me like he struggled in this race and the competition was not so tough.
