Peppers Pride (Desert God), who is undefeated in 16 career starts, will go for a record-breaking 17th straight victory when she starts in the $50,000 Lincoln Handicap on Sunday. Currently, the five-year-old mare is tied with Citation , Cigar , Mister Frisky , and Hallowed Dreams for the most consecutive wins.

Due to a sloppy racetrack, Pepper's Pride has once again been scratched. Hopefully this mare will get her chance at breaking the record sometime soon.
