Trainer Gary Contessa, in the New York Daily News, expressing his feelings about fellow New York-based trainer Richard Dutrow Jr., who admitted to using the steroid Winstrol on his horses but said he did not know what effect Winstrol has on horses. Contessa was approached after Dutrow blamed veterinarians for giving other trainers an advantage and called Contessa a jerk
