OK, we are going to follow the same format as last year. Each contestant will pick FOUR horses. Points will be assigned as follows:
1st - 20 pts.
2nd - 19 pts.
3rd - 18 pts.
4th - 17 pts. .... all the way down to last place receiving 1 pt. This contest is open to anyone who wants to play. The prize for the winner will be a set of 2 Derby glasses.

I am a little confused. We all pick 4 horses. Do we also pick the order they will finish in? What if I pick the correct 4 horses, but they are all in the wrong order? Do I get zero points?
No, each finish position is worth a certain set of points. So, say you pick the 1st, 3rd, 10th and 20th place horses, you'd get:
20 pts for the 1st
18 pts for the 3rd
10 pts for the 10th
1 pt for the 20th
Giving you a total of 49 pts. Pick who you think will be in the top 4 and no matter where they finish you'll get points.
so no need to put the 4 horses in order ?

That was a real shame about Eight Belles. She ran much better than I expected in such a crowded field. I wonder what causes something like that to happen.
Chris, its pretty harsh knowing that Amy won without even picking the winner and that Monba was the one who screwed you! Maybe Amy will send a Derby glass your way.
I'm guessing it was a fatigue injury. It sort of ruined the Derby for me this year. I can't imagine how devastated the connections of Eight Belles must feel after her great race. She was clearly much the best of the rest of the field.
