My little Rikki will be making his first start tomorrow at Gulfstream Park. Every one needs to hold their breath, say a prayer, cross their fingers and toes, focus their positive energy, etc. This could be BIG!

Episcopalians don't know about novenas, but we sure know about rooting for our friends - so I certainly shall do that. Let's hope nobody can Catch Rikki tomorrow.
Hopefully some of you got to see the race... Rikki was 4th. It looked to me that he broke slowly and was distanced quickly. On the tv, he was never in the picture until the end when he came charging up to 4th place. I'm waiting for Larry (the trainer) to call me with the official scoop.
It sounds like a great first race. Slow brakes happen and I'm sure with more practice he'll become a pro at it. The rally at the end is a great indicator of his abilities. I'm predicting a big win for his next time out. Have you heard from Larry yet?

I'm shocked that you even know what a Novena is. I could only tell you it's some gimmicky Catholic voodoo.
Novena? My favorite opera star!
