We had a little car accident yesterday. We were making a left hand turn off of Hwy 41 and were rear-ended by a small Ford Escort. The impact lifted our truck so high in the air that the front bumper scraped the asphalt and bent the tow hooks under the bumper. A witness said it looked like our truck stood straight up on it's nose before landing on the other side of the road. Thankfully, no one was injured including the young woman who hit us. She apparently was distracted and didn't see us. There were no skid marks made by her car so I believe she was going 55+ MPH when she hit us. Everyone was wearing their seatbelts and the young woman in the Ford was taken to the hospital, but they thought her only injuries were caused by the impact with her airbag. Very special thanks to Hope (Greenpeace2) for patiently waiting for us at the scene of the accident and driving us home. We are waiting to hear the status of the truck and are hoping they don't total it.

I can't believe the pictures! It really is amazing that no-one was more seriously hurt. How are you guys feeling today?
We are a little body sore, but otherwise fine.

the insurance company said it's a total loss.
