The Breeder's Cup Contest 2007

The following 11 posts are the official entries for the Breeder's Cup. There are three new races added to the series this year that will be run on Friday, and the original eight will be run on Saturday. Pick one horse per race. It doesn't matter if someone else already picked that horse. The winner is the one who gets the most points overall. All guesses are due by Friday at 10AM. This game is open to ANYONE who wants to play. The prize to the winner is the Breeder's Cup glasses pictured on the left. Good luck!

Perhaps, 'we' (this means you) need to clarify that anyone can pick any horse they want even if it has already been picked by someone else. Just in case people who jump in later get discouraged and think that all of the "good ones" were already picked and don't play as a result.

Those glsses are staying in Florida so my redneck friends can enjoy a frozen margarita, while we swat at the mosquitos, wipe our brow from the heat and humidity, and look out for poisonous snakes.

send them instead to a state where your neighbors will have the ability to read them.

It's like a monsoon up here in the Northeast today - let's just hope for a safe trip for all the horses and jocks.
