My Newest Addiction

Jello Pudding Snacks

I've tried the fat-free kind and the sugar-free/ reduced calorie kind (in both chocolate and vanilla) and they are both GREAT! Really, nothing is missing. It might possibly be the perfect snack food.

Nora - I'm ahead of you with this addiction - as we speak not only do I have a supply of the vanilla and chocolate, but I also have the butterscotch!!

They help with my nightime ice cream cravings.. they are cool, creamy and sweet. (and have a gazillion less calories and carbs that the ice cream does!)

That is a great alternative for the after-dinner sweet craving! I'm trying to get back on Weight Watchers since I've put on about 7 lbs. of the 10 lbs. I lost last year. The hardest time of day is evening after getting the girls to bed...that's when my sweet tooth kicks in. I also like the Weight Watchers Giant Fudge Bars; they're really good and only 1 point!

Other healthy alternatives that I have been eating lately:

Baked Lays Potato Chips - similar in texture to Pringles but not as greasy, salty, or potato stick tasting.

Fruit - wonderful at this time of the year fresh watermelon, cantaloupe, grapes, peaches. Del Monte has little fruit cups that are good for non-fresh fruit. Convenience without the tin can taste.

Roasted-In-Shell Peanuts - (yup, I cringed upon saying that one!)

Oscar Meyer sliced deli fresh meats - particularly Rotisserie Style Chicken Breast.

John Soules Fajita Style Chicken Breast - fully cooked, in the freezer section. Great on salads or in Fajita's or tacos.

Pam Cooking Spray instead of butter, margerine, or oil.

Sweet Potatoes!! I like them better than regular potatoes.
