I am fascinated by this...
I remember, years ago, seeing a special with Leonard Nimoy interviewing Anna Anderson (mentioned in article below), who claimed to be the daughter, Anastasia. This woman was adamant that she was Anastasia and that she escaped despite the fact that the rest of the family was slaughtered.

I searched Anastasia Romanov on Google and the 2nd result was about Anna Anderson and why many believed her story. It's pretty good stuff. Look it up next time you're bored.
