Secretariat Movie

Me and Conard went to see this Friday night. We loved, loved, LOVED it! I never knew what a brave and inspiring woman Penny Chenery Tweedy was. Go see it... take the kids, too. You'll love it!

Lost In The Fog

It's a little late to be on my Christmas wishlist, but I see they made a movie about Lost In The Fog.

We Are Marshall

We watched this movie last night. It is about a plane crash in 1970 that killed 75 people from the Marshall University football team, athletic staff, family, and fans. The movie starts with the plane crash and tells the tale of the struggle to get a football program back in place. This was a good movie that focused not on winning, but playing the game. The actual events happened in the town where Conard grew up, Huntington, West Virginia. Conard's older brother Larry worked for the fire department, and was called out to the fiery wreckage from the plane crash to help locate bodies.

A Glimpse of the Future...

Now that this is out on DVD, I firmly believe that my future includes finally watching this movie. I also predict it will be just as funny as I imagine it to be.

That's all the predictions I have for you today... tired now... must rest...

Castaway

I had never seen this movie before, so when it was on TNT last night I decided to watch it. Did the whole unopened FedEx box thing bother anyone else? Why did he never open that one? and what the HECK was in it??!!! I hate movies that leave you with questions!
